Foyer Redecoration

I redecorated the foyer with some furnishings from my grandmother's house. The marble top wood cabinet came from one of her bedrooms and the mirror came from her living room. I still think the cabinet/table is gorgeous even if it has a crack and is missing a shelf. It's a family heirloom.

The clock is a Seth Thomas clock from around 1879 and the plate is made by Johnson & Brother's and is the famous Holland pattern also known as "Blue Onion".

My Grandfather's Seth Thomas Mantel Clock - Circa 1879

My great grandfather’s Seth Thomas mantel clock. I’ve dated it to about 1879 or thereabouts. Still haven’t figured out the exact model.

We had it fixed about 10 years ago and it worked then, but I don’t think it works now. I would like to have it fixed again, but I don’t think I want it restored, as it has that nice old world charm about it.
PS: Notice my art deco 1930’s Seth Thomas clock on the mantel.
