Before and after of the backyard restoration and garden. After the tornado came through in March 2007, it ripped up all of the grass and, and we never were able to get grass to grow back due to the shade provided by the sweet gum trees (left in first picture). This caused mass erosion of the backyard.
Well, this week with the sweet gum trees cut down and removed, my family and I installed a dry riverbed to help with water runoff. Then we installed a garden around that. It looks amazing, doesn't it?
